PARENTS’ AND CITIZENS’ ASSOCIATION

The Annual General Meeting is held on the third Monday of February.

Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month except when this coincides with school vacations. Meetings commence at 7.30pm.

Agenda items relate to fundraising, more specific educational issues, and recognition of student successes.

Meetings are held in the Administration block.

SCHOOL COUNCIL

Our school has adopted the EO2 model of school based management and has a School Council consisting of the following membership:

• Principal - Mr Eion McAllister
• P & C President – Mrs Cathy Vellacott
• Staff Representative - Mr Ian Williams
• 3 elected Student Representatives
• President - Emma Cornford
• Secretary - Courtney Lodge
• Treasurer - Rachel Spring

Council is responsible for the strategic direction of the school and approves the School Strategic Plan, Annual Operational Plan, and significant School Policies. It also receives reports on school activities and financial patterns.

Council meets at least once per term and otherwise as necessary.

STUDENT COMMITTEES

Students who are elected to leadership positions in the school must have achieved Level 1 or 2 in the School’s Behaviour Management System.

Students may hold elected representation on the Student Council.

Students are invited to hold membership of the following committees:

• Student Welfare
• Magazine
• Year 12 Formal
• Sports
• Social
• Fund Raising
